Learning Opportunities for Adults

  • Adult Education & GED — If you didn't finish high school, there are free classes — at adult education centers and online — to prepare you to take the GED test.

IMPORTANT:  The Fifth Edition of the GED® Tests will be issued January 1, 2012.  Non-passing or incomplete scores from previous editions of the tests will not transfer.  All five subjects of the new version have to be taken.

    Warning issued by GEDTS™.

If you are a high school graduate and need to improve your reading, math, or communication skills, you may be eligible for free adult education services in every Kentucky county, as well as online.

  • Going to College — Are you thinking about returning to college or enrolling for the first time?  Millions of adults who delayed college are now enrolling.

  • Career Information for Adults — If you are thinking about changing your career, we have tools, tips and resources to make the transition a smooth one.
