Application Process
  1. Please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible.

  2. When you are finished, click the SUBMIT button on the left column of any application screen.

  3. Print the submittal form that appears after you submit the application. Return it with a nonrefundable application fee of $25 in the form of a check or money order to the address listed below. Please write your name and Social Security number on the check/money order. Keep in mind that the fee is waived if you make an official visit to the campus.

  4. The Office of Admissions would also appreciate receiving a recent photograph. This is optional and has no affect on the admission decision.

  5. Please have official transcripts sent directly to the Office of Admissions from your high school and any college you have attended. Freshmen applicants should have a Secondary School Evaluation Form completed by their high school guidance counselor and sent with the high school transcript.

  6. High school students should have ACT and/or SAT scores sent directly to the Office of Admissions if they are not recorded on high school transcripts. Asbury's code for the ACT is 1486 and for the SAT is 1019. Transfers should have a copy of their scores sent to our office if they are not recorded on the high school transcript.

  7. Have the appropriate people complete the necessary reference forms and have them return the forms to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. You should provide each with a stamped envelope addressed to Asbury College.

  8. Upon receipt of all your forms, your admission file will be evaluated and a decision will be made regarding your admission. You will be notified of the college's decision.

Home Schooling Admissions Policy:
All students who seek admission to Asbury College from a home schooling situation must supply ACT and/or SAT scores, certification of completion of a home schooling program (or documentation of all course work completed), as well as the necessary reference forms.
Upon Acceptance to Asbury College
  1. Upon acceptance, please send a pre-tuition payment of $200. This will be applied to your account at Asbury and is refundable until May 1 prior to fall semester, December 1 prior to spring semester and April 15 for spring semester and April 15 for summer session.

  2. Upon acceptance, you will receive the Handbook on Community Life and a handbook form to complete. After receipt of your pre-tuition payment, you will be sent a medical form to be completed by your physician. Please complete these forms and return them to the Office of Admissions prior to July 1 for fall semester, December 1 for spring semester and April 15 for summer session.

  3. High school students should submit an official final transcript reflecting senior year credits, grades, final rank in class and date of graduation as soon as possible.

  4. Prior to enrollment at Asbury, transfer students should submit an official final transcript of all college work completed since the time of application.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
A student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for scholarships, grants and federal financial aid. Forms are available after January 1 and should be completed by March 1 in order to receive maximum financial aid. You may apply online through FAFSA on the WEB or obtain the forms from your high school guidance counselor or from the Asbury College, Office of Admissions.

How To Use the Asbury College Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
