Admission Requirements
Traditional Daytime Program
Freshman Admission Criteria
If you are attending college for the first time you are required to have:
- A High School GPA of 2.5 or higher or a GED score of 50 or higher
- Minimum of 20 on the ACT or 950 on the SAT
- An official copy of high school transcript or GED test score report
Transfer Admission Criteria
If you have previously attended a college or university:
- Students with less than 24 hours of transferable credit must meet Freshman Admission Criteria
- Students with 24 hours of transferable credit must have a college GPA of 2.5 or higher
Adult Accelerated Program (for adults age 23 or older)
First Time College Student Admission Criteria
If you are attending college for the first time you are required to have:
- A High School GPA of 2.0 or higher or a GED score of 50 or higher
- An official copy of the high school transcript or GED test score report
Transfer Admission Criteria
If you have previously attended a college or university:
- Students with less than 24 hours of transferable credit must meet First Time College Student Admission Criteria
- Students with 24 hours of transferable credit must have a college GPA of 2.0 or higher
All Applicants
Official copies of college transcripts are required for each institution previously attended. ACT or SAT scores are not required of applicants who have been out of high school for five years or more.
If you do not meet these requirements, your application materials will be reviewed by our Undergraduate Admissions Committee. As part of this review process, your admissions counselor will request that you submit a personal statement, addressing your academic performance, highlighting your personal/professional achievements and sharing your life experiences as they relate to your pursuit of higher education.
